Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is a Hollywood writer and actress who's talent has brought her recognition and critical acclaim. Sagittarius is her birth name, and she was born at the state of North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She's the third oldest siblings born in the home of Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper, and Anne psychologist. She's English and Scottish descent. Her father was a professional and often moved her family. She struggled with making and keeping acquaintances. Moore started acting in plays in the year she attended Frankfurt American High School when her family moved to Germany. In 1983, she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from Boston University. In Theater. Moore's professional career started at New York with Off-Broadway Theater immediately following the completion of her studies. Her screen debut came in 1985 when she appeared on an episode of The Edge of Night. Her break came in 1986 when she portrayed the role of Sabrina Hughes as well as Frannie Hughes in the show As the World Turns. The show lasted from 1986 to 1988. World Turns through 1988. For her role she won a Daytime Emmy Award. She made her film debut in the year 1990, with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that was later described by her as a shambles low-budget production. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), each Robert Altman productions, were her first films. The former was critically acclaimed and earned her a number of nominations for the film. Moore was offered her first role as a lead in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg, who was the director of Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997, and one of that year's biggest grossing films, had Moore cast as the main actor. The film she starred in was Magnolia (1999) that was praised by critics and earned an SAG nod for her role. The Hours was her co-starring performance in 2002. it earned nine Academy Award nominations, including Nicole Kidman. Moore was also in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop was her film of 2014. Moore has appeared in numerous movies and television shows. The most recent role she has played is When You Finish Saving the World (2022). In Hollywood, she has also established herself as a writer for children. Her first book Freckleface Strawberry was published in 2007, and it became a bestseller on the The New York Times. The best-selling book was made into a movie, series, and even a musical. The year 2013 saw her release the book, My Mom is A Foreigner. In her career as a highly successful actor and writer, Moore's private life and experiences are public. She was married John Robin in 1984 and they split in 1995. Moore has two children and a son with Bart Freundlich whom she later got married in 2003. Moore is a woman who values her family and career.
